• Perspective

  At 13

  I wanted to die.

  I would have missed

  falling in love

  the first time.

  At 17

  I wanted to die,

  I would have missed

  marriage

  and motherhood

  and the freedom it took so long

  to find.

  Natalie was taken

  away.

  She had no choice

  but to go.

  It brings

  perspective.
